Accounts Assistant

Alpadis Group is looking for an Accounts Assistant for our Singapore office (Singaporean and PR only).

Key responsibilities

  • Manage petty cash reimbursement & reconciliation
  • Ensure that the accounts receivable invoices are properly posted into the general ledger
  • Update the accounts receivable ledger and monitor the status of outstanding invoices for reporting
  • Ensure that all account payable records are properly updated into the accounting system
  • Verify employee claims and input them into the accounting system
  • Input all rechargeable expenses into the accounting system for billing
  • Check and tie all entries to ensure the GST amount is billed correctly and assist in the preparation of the GST return filings
  • Perform month end tasks (cost allocation, accruals, prepayments and other related entries)
  • Assist with the preparation of documents and accounting schedules for audit purposes
  • Perform other ad-hoc assigned duties


  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels, ITE in Accounting or equivalent


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and in the use of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Proficient in English (Mandarin will be considered an advantage)


  • Strong organisational and follow-through skills – must be dependable, proactive and prompt
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-organized, strong analytical skills, logical thinking and with an eye for detail
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
