The Singapore budget 2017 overview

A S$75.1 billion Budget to continue to build an innovative and connected economy.

One of the budget recommendations is to support the OECD’s BEPS initiative, which seeks to ensure companies are taxed where substantive economic activities are performed. This will ensure the transparency of Singapore’s tax system and should encourage multinational companies to invest in a low tax yet BEPS-compliant jurisdiction.
